I love the list, some we have and play, some I remember from my own childhood and glad to be reminded of, and some are completely new to me that I’m checking out! This is their list of favorite, most beloved, board games for kids (and mostly for the younger crowd). I asked readers on the somewhat new Facebook group for hands on : as we grow called, The Huddle (come join us!). I asked hands on : as we grow readers, parents that are down in the trenches, just like me. I don’t like taking a chance on games that look like they might be fun. And honestly, my kids are outgrowing it (except for Louis… I’ll have another turn at this with him in a few months I’m sure)! Okay, maybe I don’t beg, but sometimes it just gets old. So… so over it… I beg that someone draws the chocolate swirl thing (what is that anyway? A cinnamon roll?). We’re on a little kick of board games lately in our house and always love to break out of the mold for a bit. What are your favorite, most beloved, always out, ones you come back to, games you play as a family?Īnd I mean board games, or card games… not activities like we love so much here.
